“That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king”
God made sure that the king could not sleep because Heaven has determined to lift Modecai into his season of jubilation. He (king Ahasuerus) that commanded 127 provinces, could not command one hour’s sleep. God is sending me to announce to you that anybody holding the key to promotion shall not rest until they allowed themselves to be used for your lifting. Also note this Latin phrase: “ Cantando restituit rem—He conquered by delay.” Yes, a delay reward is not a denied reward. Modecai’s reward was delayed but not denied. There are times when God conquered by delays. Don’t forget that God had to kill the entire firstborn of Egypt because His covenant children had to be released after 400 years. Indeed, if need be, somebody will die for you to get to your promised land. When Pharoah was stubborn, did he not become a man without a grave? What can God not do for you? Who can God not inconvenience for you? The trinity also made sure that the king Nebuchadnezzar could not sleep because an operation concerning Daniels destiny was going on (Dan.6:18). I like to let you know that even before the end of this year 2011, you will still laugh. As God lives, somebody will not sleep until you laugh indeed to the Glory of God.

OF YOUR PURCHASE
1 PETER. 1:18-19
18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Begin reading this message with a picture in your mind. As fallen human beings, we were all labelled up for sale in Satan’s market. Then suddenly a buyer enters the market and it was Jesus Christ of Nazareth! But Satan did not want Christ to buy us. Satan’s plan was that we would be bought by someone else whom is as wicked as him. But Jesus opened His purse and brought out His cash – He paid a very high price to buy us- the price of His precious blood. Unwillingly to release us, to let us go, Satan set up many obstacles and barriers to frustrate Christ from purchasing us. Nevertheless, Christ explained to him that through his painful death on the cross, He has paid the price for us. Satan has no option than to give us up to the new owner! That means concerning your life, Satan has lost the battle forever! He does not own you again and he has lost his dominion over you! Ha may want to delay you but he cannot you your promised land! The blood that redeemed us was an extraordinary kind of blood- the blood of God-man, Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus is a “man” mixed with God. Therefore, when this “man” died on the cross, God also passes through death. Oh, no human brain can explain this mystery adequately. So if Jesus can buy you by His own blood then there is NOTHING He can withhold from you. If He could buy you, then He CANNOT deny you anything good. As 2011 is coming to an end, resist the lie of the devil that God is slow or that He has forgotten you. Resist depression and know that God has a plan your life and His plan for your life alone shall prevail.

IT IS GOOD TO GIVE THANKS TO GOD
It Is Good to Give Thanks to God!
The Bible exhorts believers to pray always (Eph. 6:18). Along with their continual fellowship with the Lord through prayer, they can also fellowship with Him through thanksgiving and praise. In fact, praise is a type of prayer that every Christian should master.
The Psalmist David praised God at least seven times a day (Ps. 119:164). But God is worthy of thanks and praise always—24 hours a day, seven days a week. Anytime is time to give thanks and praise to God!
We’re going to look at a number of scriptures dealing with “thanksgiving” or “giving thanks” so we can understand the vast importance of this subject in the life of the believer. For the Christian, every day should be a day of giving thanks to God.
PHILIPPIANS 4:6
6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication WITH THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God.
The Holy Ghost said through the Apostle Paul, in effect, “Let your requests be made known to God with thanksgiving.” Looking at this from a natural standpoint, suppose someone prepared a delicious Soup for you. You ask for the recipe, so the person who made the soup gives you the recipe. You want to prepare the same dish, so you begin making the soup, thinking you’re following the recipe. Yet your soup doesn’t turn out like the one the other person made. As you look back over the recipe, you realize you left out an ingredient!
Similarly, many people make requests to God—they pray and supplicate, begging favors of God—but they leave out something. They leave out thanksgiving, so their prayers don’t work! Let’s look at Philippians 4:6 again and take it step by step. First, it says, “Be careful for nothing.” That phrase is a little blind to us today. The Amplified Bible reads, “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything . . . .” We’re not supposed to worry. We’re not supposed to be fretful or anxious. Well, what are we going to do, then? The next part of that verse says, “. . . but IN EVERY THING by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” In how many things are we supposed to make requests to God? In all things—little things, big things, middle-sized things, and everything in between! And we’re supposed to make our requests with thanksgiving!
So if there’s something in life, a situation or circumstance, that you might be tempted to worry about, what are you going to do? You’re not supposed to worry—you’re supposed to pray! And you’re not just supposed to pray. You’re supposed to pray with thanksgiving!
This is where we’ve missed it. Some have already missed it in that they never obeyed the first part—they never let go of the fretting and the anxiety—and that hinders their prayers. But even if they obey that part and cast their cares and anxieties over on the Lord (1 Peter 5:7), they can still miss it in their praying if they’re not mixing thanksgiving with it.
God is pleased with our thanksgiving and praise. It is His will that we come before Him with offerings of thanksgiving. The last part of First Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In everything give thanks: FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU

The recent report says one in every four couple experience delay in pregnancy and categories the causes into: MALE FACTOR – 40-60%; FEMALE FACTOR – 40-60%; COMBINED FACTOR – 205 AND UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY – 25%. Note the unexplained infertility of 25% and the Holy ghost wants you to know that it was when the best experts ( magicians ) of Nebuchadnezzar failed that Jehovah God whose dwelling is not with flesh, took over ( Daniel 2:10-13 ). God wants you to know that every expert has a human limit. As 2011 comes to an end, God wants you to ignore the experts concerning your life, family and ministry. With God all things are possible and so you will be fruitful in your body and you will carry your own children. Yes, your life will proof the doctor’s report wrong. Yes, you will be fruitful in your career against all odds! Yes, your prosperity will proof the economic experts wrong! No matter what the experts have said, don’t forget what the Expert of experts have written concerning you – Ex 23:26:” There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill,” hear George Matheson: “There is an Eye that never sleeps, beneath the wind of night. There is an ear that never shuts, when sinks the beams of light. There is an Arm that never tires, when human strength gives way. There is a Love that never fails, when earthly love decays.” Hold on to God and refuse to quit. May your life/ministry proof that God is God and man is man.

THE DEATH OF JESUS
Text: Is. 53; 1 Corth 15: 1-8
Introduction
The death of Jesus Christ is a core issue in Christian faith. Since man fell from grace in the garden of Eden, he lost the glory of God through that sin of disobedience. Man therefore needs restoration back to God.
Why Did Jesus Die?
1) Because of the sins of Man
1 Pet.2:24; Rom.5:17; Matt.8;17
2) To reconcile Man back to God
Col.1:20-22; Heb.9:7-21; 2 Coth.5;18-19; heb.2:17
3) To redeem man from Sin?
1 Peter.1:18; Ps.55:15; Rev5:9; Eph.1:7
FACTS ABOUT THE DEATH OF JESUS CHRIST- Mt.27:57-66
If the disciples of Jesus seem to have forgotten his promise that he would rise up from the dead, his enemies had not. They took every human measure possible to be certain that his predicted victory over the grave would never take place.
a. After Resurrection, His tomb was found empty.

b. Jesus revealed the nail prints in his hands

c. Paul gave a testimony of Jesus Resurrection

CONCLUSION

YOU ARE WELL
Jer 30:17-But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.'
When Satan says “sick” God says “well”, when Satan says “weak” God says strong”, when Satan says “No” God says” Yes” Then who should you believe? Who should you listen to? YOU ARE WELL.
WELL MEANS
1. W-watch for your Healing-Mt 7:7” Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be opened unto you” Jn 16:24, James 4:2. Be alert, ready, and always watch for healing. Inspite of what you may have been told, your problem will not last forever. God will intervene, never give up, ask and keep asking until you receive.
2. E-Expect miracles-Mk 10:27”. With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible” God is a miracle working God. Expect your miracles with bold faith. Your miracle is near. Get the word impossible out of your mind forever. God will touch your mind and the torment of the devil will end in Jesus name. He will Restore you, and make your mind well. He will bring back all that devil has stolen and fill your heart with Joy again. Be Well.
3. L-Live Right-2cor 6:17-18. It is so important to live right. Obey God’s laws, do the things that please Him, and it will be well with you. Bad habits can destroy you, your mind, body, and your future. Tobacco, alcohol, hard drugs etc can shorten your life and rob you of good health. Kick the devil out of your life. Jesus will set you free. Stop worrying, and start TRUSTING GOD.
4. L-Look unto JESUS-Jn 14:6-Jesus is the only way to heaven. Ask Him to heal you now! Look unto Jesus. Don’t look in any other place, don’t look at the sickness, shame, mockery, but look to Jesus, your healer. When things go wrong, and everything looks hopeless, look unto Jesus. He will change your circumstances in a second of time, and make you WELL.
Always remember these:
*Problems are not permanent
*Failures are not fatal
*Delays are not Denials.

SPEND AND BE SPENT FOR GOD
Is 52:7 “ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto zion, Thy god reigneth!. To bring good tidings means to “Preach” or “Carry good news|”.
On Nov 1st 2008, mariam, the late elegant wife of the former military president of Nigeria, General Ibrahim Babangida was 59yrs. She was interviewed by reporters about her Islamic foundation, she quickly replied “Yes, I preach Islam in the villages, when I go there, I found out some of them do not have religion, they practice the traditional religion, I preach to them and bring them to God. I go in the morning and do not get back until late in the evening, we give them what we can then employ teachers to teach them”.
Listen, reader, age was not her barrier, her position as ex-president’s wife was not a barrier, her wealth was not a barrier etc. can you declare the same things about your faith and about your Lord Jesus Christ? Can you visit people around you or far away, spend time with them, telling them about CHRIST? Can you spend and be spent for the kingdom? When last did you genuinely go out for evangelism; individually or collectively as a church? In the second quarter of 2011, allow/let God use you to populate heaven and depopulate hell. Wining souls makes your feet (your journey through life) beautiful. Don’t forget if you sit down and just enjoy the great sermons and music of your church, souls will someday accuse you of criminal negligence against their eternal destiny ”USE YOUR DAYS TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY FOR THE GLORY OF GOD, BENEFIT OF YOUR GENERATION AND THE EXPANSION OF HIS KINGDOM”.
2cor 12:15 “And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved”.
Apostle Paul sought to give his money, himself willingly to support God’s work even to the point of sacrificing his life. To whom do you need to give the good news? Don’t hesitate or procrastinate. Also sow into God’s work and God will bless you.

IT TOOK DISCIPLINE TO BURY HER!
Dan. 1:8, 3:14-18
How great you are and how great you will be on earth depends on the way you discipline yourself.
The late princess Diana meant a lot to people, being the mother of the future Kings of England. She is highly revered even in death. But recently, a Soldier who helped to lower her body into the grave 131/2 years ago has given insight into what took place at her private burial in 1997. The Soldier, Mr. Nigel said they had to train seriously for that assignment? Yes, they trained for the sad day by carrying a coffin packed with sandbags over a specially-built bridge till their shoulders ached. This was because the grave was in an Island after a wooden bridge that was the power of body discipline! The team of eight was also told to keep their mission secret and disguise as a rugby team at the hotel they camped a day before the burial. Thus, they were also trained to discipline their tongue. Oh what great lessons on discipline and God is calling reader of today’s bulletin to a higher level of discipline in 2011. Do you know that there are promotions God will not allow you to see/taste till you can control fornication, adultery, your temper/anger, bitterness/malice, lust for money, love of position/fame, lateness to church services, lack of submission to authority/leaders, etc.
“MAN MUST BE DISCIPLINE, FOR HE IS BY NATURE, RAW AND WILD”. Can any army win a battle without discipline? Samson lost his glory! Gehazi lost his glory! Moses lost the Promised Land and nearly lost his place in heaven because he could not control the Monster called “ANGER” WHAT IS YOUR MONSTER? Daniel and the three Hebrew men (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) became a celebrity because of Discipline. Are you living your life according to God’s rule and Instructions? Discipline makes a man great but indiscipline brings a man down!!! Ponder on this. God bless you this week.

Fight a good fight of faith
FIGHT A GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH
So many profess to be born again are not living a victorious Christian life. God tell us in 3Jn.V.2 that “Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health as your soul prospers”. It is the will of God for us to prosper, but many Christians are living in abject poverty.
In Deuteronomy 28:12c, the bible says “…you shall lend to many nations, you shall not borrow”. But so many Christians are in chairs of debt and falling from debt to debt.
Beloved everything does not end when you give your life to Christ. In fact that is just the beginning of a new life in Christ, which is one in which victory is assured because you are on the side of the Lord. The Christian life is a battle, ITim 6:12 warns us to …”fight the good fight of faith”, 2 Cor. 9:2 says …”the weapon of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God, Ps. 144:1 “Blessed be the Lord my God who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle”. You need to establish the word of God concerning your life continuously by praying and confessing the word. Pray until something (great, marvelous, wonderful, beautiful, glorious etc) happens in your life and destiny.

Time to Dance
TIME TO DANCE
Ecl 3:1-4
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal, a time to break down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and A TIME TO DANCE’”
Dancing is one of the fruit of Happiness, moving with measured steps to the tune of a music. Our LORD is singing a music unto our Ears and the music is saying “IT IS WELL”
Why must we dance?
1. We can dance to provoke an opportunity.
2. We can dance to thank God for our Restoration
3. Dance is a must to one who is victorious 1sam 18-6
4. Dance becomes an unavoidable when one crosses his Red sea Ex 15:20- miriam took her timbrel in her hand and all the women around her danced.
5. One will dace with Joy when what is lost is found Lk 15:5, Ps 30:11.” Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing, thou hast put off sack cloth and girded me with gladness”
6. Dance is one of the instrument needed to praise God. Ps 149; 3” Let them praise his name in the dance…
7. You can dance your way to open Heaven, open doors, open wombs, open destiny, open Joy, open windows of Heaven, open mouth, opened cheque e.g. Herod’s daughter in Mt 14:6-7 and Mt 6:21-23. Danced before the king and was granted an opened Request v23” whatsoever thou shall ask of me ,I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom”
8. God has given you a dancing step this seasom.

WALKING WITH GOD, ENOCH EXPERIENCE
TEXT: Gen. 5:18-24
INTRODUCTION
The Bible did not give us too many details about the man Enoch. He was the son of Jarred(Gen. 5:18) and the father of many sons and daughters. apart from Noah, he was the only one mentioned as being Godly in seth's line (Gen. 6:9). there was another Enoch who was in the lineage of seth (Gen.5:3). he was a prophet (jude 14). he was the first to be translated by faith so as not to see death (Heb. 11:5). his experience parallels that of Elijah (11Kings 2:11).the most striking statements about him were the he walked with God and took him .tonight, we shall study the life of this great saint for our own benefits.
ENOCH MUST HAVE BEEN A LONELY MAN, BUT HE WAS NEVER REALLY ALONE.
Walking with God might seem lonely because anyone who decide to walk with him must have decide to be out of steps with world and its changing fashions. Walking with God entails focusing your attention on Him only.the man wha wants to walk with God must be perfect an all things. walking with Him will also attract persecution and hatred from the world. However,such a person might seem lonely because he cannot have many friends,but surely he will never be alone for God will always keep him company.

Enoch and Elijah are good examples of those who are dwelling in His holy place.Salvation is assured to those who walk with him.those who walk with God are blessed and protected by Him. they also will have enternal life and never see death.

Brethren, the Lord searches the heart of all men and He understands all imaginations. God's hands are forever open to those who will want to walk with Him. there is an open invitation tonight to as many that are willing.

The word of God determines your potential. Every word of God is pure, and true from the beginning and endureth forever. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but the word of God shall not pass away, it shall stand forever. As we study today, the Blessed Holy Spirit, who is the teacher of the mysteries of the Word of God, will teach and enlighten us, give us more understanding in Jesus name. Amen.

THE LAW OF HARVEST
Text: GALATIANS 6:7-10
INTRODUCTION
Lifetime is sowing time. Each of us by thought, word and deed is constantly sowing for future harvest. As we look into the principles of sowing and reaping may the Almighty God bless us richly, in Jesus Might Name, Amen.
SOW GOOD SEED
The law of harvest makes it abundantly clear that you need to be careful about the kind of seed that you sow.
This is because every tree must yield fruit after its kind (Gen. 1:11-12; Lk. 6:43-44). It is a principle already established by God Himself and nobody can change it. This principle is one of the few principles that is repeated in various forms and ways throughout the bible (Mt. 5:7; James 2:13; Judges 1:6-7; 1sam. 15:33; Mt. 7:1-2

God expects you, a child of His, to sow good seed on a good ground. It is when you sow on a good ground that you receive a good harvest (Mt. 13:3-9;Gal .6:8).
THE HARVEST IS ALWAYS GREATER THAT THE SEED SOWN
The law of harvest explains God reward system (Gal. 6:7-8). Since God also operates a reward system it become clear that we shall all be rewarded for our deeds whether good or bad(Mark 10:28-30. Salvation does not exempt you from receiving your just reward for all the evil you have done (2 cor. 11:23-27). The antidote for all evil seeds is restitution (Lk. 19:8-10; Lev. 6:1-7). The law of harvest makes it abundantly certain that you get much more that what you sowed (Hosea 8:7; Lk. 6:38) whatever you sowed in the secret will be rewarded openly (Lk. 8:17; Ecc. 12:14; Gen. 49:1-4(Gen.35:22) we also need to be aware that harvests can be shared. The man who sowed a seed and the person who watered it, both of them qualify to receive a reward for their labour whether good or bad (1 Cor. 3:8).therefore be careful not to partake in the sin of others (1 Tim. 5:22).
